Information on parliamentary scrutiny

The committee on Social Affairs and Employment discussed the proposal on 15 March 2016 and decided to await the position paper of the government on the proposal.

The standing committee on Social Affairs and Employment discussed the position paper of the government on 29 March 2016 and decided to provide input for written deliberations with the government on 19 April 2016.

On 28 April 2016 the committee asked written questions to the Minister for Social Affairs and Employment concerning the proposal.

On 21 June 2016 the Social Affairs committee discussed the reply of the Minister of 13 June 2016 and decided to await the European negotiations before asking any further questions.

The reaction of the European Commission on the yellow card procedure was discussed during the meeting of 13 September 2016. The Social Affairs and Employment committee decided to monitor the dossier.

On 29 May 2017 the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment informed the Dutch Senate by letter on the progress of the negotiations in the Council concerning the proposal. On 6 June 2017 the committee discussed this letter and decided to have written deliberations with the government concerning the letter and the amended version of the proposal.

The Social Affairs and Employment committee decided on 13 June 2017 to forgo written deliberations with the government.

On 25 October 2017 the minister of Social Affairs and Employment informed the Eerst Kamer by letter about the ongoing negotiations in the Council on the directive on the provision of workers. The Social Affairs and Employment committee took note of the information in its meeting on 31 October 2017.

On 6 March 2018, the committee for Social Affairs and Employment took notice of the letter from the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment concerning the annotated agenda for the EPSCO Council of 15 March 2018, in which the progress of the negotiations concerning the proposal is discussed.

On 17 April 2018, the committee for Social Affairs and Employment took notice of the letter from the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment concerning the annotated agenda for the EPSCO Council of 17-18 April 2018, in which the progress of the negotiations concerning the proposal is discussed.
