New guidelines on the use of symbols, following the entering into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, are available.

The proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and authentic instruments in matters of succession and the creation of a European Certificate of Succession was adopted on 14 October 2009.
The subsidiarity check on the proposal will be conducted by COSAC until 17 December 2009.

The Communication Reforming the Budget, Changing Europe.  A public consultation paper in view of the 2008/2009 Budget Review was published on 12 September.
The consultation on the Budget Review 2008/9 will last until 15 April 2008.

The Commission has adopted its legislative and work programme for 2010 on 31 March 2010.
